Hi, Before I begin...I just want to say to the Moms out there... you are welcome to "blog" about your thoughts, ideas, hobbies, troubles-any sensitive subject etc. but I want you to be as truthful as possible and NO joking around! I mean I created this so that "Moms" out in there can vent about their very important, no-wage JOB and how it effects them. Thank You!

Anyway, I am a 37 year old stay at home mom. I have (as you can see) 2 beautiful children, a girl, 7 and a boy, 4. I began my full-time, full-life job of staying home in 2002, when my daughter was 1 1/2 yrs. I really enjoyed the idea and felt lucky that my husband and I were financially OK to do this. (Well, if you want something really bad you find a way to do it with some sacrifice).

When, my daughter was 2, we went to Disney. Well, not only did my daughter bring home some great souveniors...nine months later...my son was born! Ha, Ha.

Well, I was not laughing so much after he was born...two days latermy semi-private room started to close in and get dark...the nurse called it ..."the blues"...in other words P.P.D. (Post Pardum Depression-this I would find out later.) When I got home, it did not go away. I cried when I rocked him to sleep, when I was alone in the house etc.

I have been on anti-depressants since then, plus I was diagnosed with Adult ADD, so I am talking meds for that too. Its been a long hall but I am getting through it One Day At A Time (I know that is a term for another support group but it fits this too).

I am trying to start a home business with my crafts and photography. I even made a catalog with pictures of all of my crafts with the prices and order forms.

Thank you for tuning in to my first blog...I hope some of this info helped those Moms out there who experience these things. And for those who just want to talk about Mom things feel free. hopefully, all of us can learn from one another from our ideas. Take Care, Jenn ; )
